Valio Eesti AS Laeva Meierei factory
Valio Eesti AS Laeva Meierei factory is located in Tartu rural municipality, Valmaotsa village. In Laeva factory, fresh dairy products are produced, such as milk, cream, kefir, yoghurt, curd cream and cottage cheese.
Laeva factory is employing more than 260 people and producing more than 220 different products in total. More than 7000 tons of fresh dairy products are produced in a month.
For the production is used only pure highest quality raw milk from 39 different farms, located mainly in Central and South Estonia.
Products of Laeva Meierei factory reach not only stores in Estonia, but also the store shelves in Latvia, Lithuania and Greece.
Laeva factory is also the place, where the beloved brand Alma was born, which today offers more than 100 different dairy products.
Valio Eesti AS Võru Cheese factory
Valio Võru Cheese factory is located in beautiful South Estonia, nearby Võru. In 2018 factory celebrated it’s 50 year Birthday.
The history of Võru Cheese factory date back to 1968, which means that Võru factory is one of the most experienced cheese manufacturers in Estonia.
Valio Eesti AS Võru Cheese factory employs nearly 180 people, which makes it one of the biggest employers in Võrumaa. On average, cheese factory produces 900 tons of various cheese products per month. For production is used only pure, highest quality raw milk, which comes from farms located mainly in Central and South Estonia.
The most popular products are: Valio Atleet cheese, which has more than 35 year old history, Italian-style hard cheese Valio Forte, which was enjoyed at the Beijing Olympic Games, and Valio Viola processed cheese, launched in 2017.
Nearly half of the products of Valio Eesti AS Võru Cheese factory are sold outside Estonia. Products can be found in Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, USA, Finland, Belgium, Greece and other European countries.
